Hello!!! A small and sweet post to kickstart the food part of the festive season. Yesterday, I made some coconut ladoos for 'Haldi Kumkum' at our place. This is probably the easiest dessert recipe. Ever.
This recipe makes 26 medium-sized ladoos.
Ingredients
- Coconut - 2 medium sized, scraped
- Condensed milk - 150 grams
- Syrup for added flavour. I used rose and butterscotch
- Coconut powder
Method
- Heat a kadhai. And add the scraped coconut in it. If you are planning to make more than one flavour, divide the coconut accordingly.
- Add condensed milk and stir for 2-3 minutes making sure it's mixed properly.
- Add the syrup and mix. Cook for 5 minutes stirring continuously.
- Add a little syrup if you feel it's dry. Or add some more coconut in case it's too liquid. Remove from heat. Let it cool.
- Shape the mixture into ladoos and roll them in coconut powder.
It's that simple. And seriously delicious. Try it. :D
P.S. Check out my ma-in-law's pretty decoration
