Rose/Butterscotch Coconut Ladoos

Hello!!! A small and sweet post to kickstart the food part of the festive season. Yesterday, I made some coconut ladoos for 'Haldi Kumkum' at our place. This is probably the easiest dessert recipe. Ever.

This recipe makes 26 medium-sized ladoos.

Ingredients
  • Coconut - 2 medium sized, scraped
  • Condensed milk - 150 grams
  • Syrup for added flavour. I used rose and butterscotch
  • Coconut powder
Method
  1. Heat a kadhai. And add the scraped coconut in it. If you are planning to make more than one flavour, divide the coconut accordingly.
  2. Add condensed milk and stir for 2-3 minutes making sure it's mixed properly.
  3. Add the syrup and mix. Cook for 5 minutes stirring continuously.
  4. Add a little syrup if you feel it's dry. Or add some more coconut in case it's too liquid. Remove from heat. Let it cool.
  5. Shape the mixture into ladoos and roll them in coconut powder.

It's that simple. And seriously delicious. Try it. :D

P.S. Check out my ma-in-law's pretty decoration
