Hey guys, today I'll be making a mini shaker card using embossing powders, some scrap pattern paper and vellum. I am entering this in the Lulupu challenge #54. http://lulupu.blogspot.in/2015/10/challenge-54-embossing-magic.html
I hope you like it and I hope they like it too. :)
There we have it, our mini shaker card.
I hope you like it and I hope they like it too. :)
Materials Required
- A piece of pattern paper that is 3.5 X 8 inches
- A piece of vellum that is 2.5 X 5 inches
- Clear and white embossing powders
- Versa Mark
- A thank you stamp. I used one by We R Memory Keepers
- Some thin quilling strip and embroidery yarn
- Sequins and washi tapes
Method
- Fold the pattern paper in half to create a top-folding card.
- Rub some versa mark on the front side of the card stock. Make sure the entire side is covered.
- Now pour some clear embossing powder on it, covering every bit of the front side. Set it using a heat embossing tool.
- Fold the scrap vellum in half seal three sides of it using some strong glue to make a pocket.
- Stamp the sentiment using some Versa Mark on the front on the vellum pocket. Pour some white embossing powder on it and heat set it.
- Decorate the sides on the pocket with some quilling strip. This will hide the glue marks. Fill the pocket with some sequins and seal the pocket.
- Decorate the bottom of the card stock with some thin washi tapes. Stick the vellum at the centre of the card. Embellish with some yarn.
