Hey guys!!! Today I'll be making a masculine vellum birthday gift bag.
I'll be entering this in the following challenges :
1. Just Add Ink Challenge #313 - http://just-add-ink.blogspot.in/2016/05/just-add-ink-313-b.html
For this challenge, I had to use the letter B in my challenge. Either a word or a technique, etc. I chose to add a Banner on my gift bag plus the word Birthday.
2. City Crafter Challenge #313 - http://citycrafter.blogspot.in/2016/05/city-crafter-challenge-blog-week-313.html
For this challenge, I had to make a black and white project with a hint of gold.
Materials Required
- A sheet of vellum measuring 8 X 11 1/2 inches
- A score board and liquid glue
- Washi tape and some gold glitter ribbon
- Black and white pattern paper measuring 3 7/8 X 4 inches.
- Some black glitter foam
Method
1. Score the vellum on the long side (11 1/2 inches) at 1 1/2, 5 1/2, 7 and 11 inches.
2. Score on the short side (8 inches) at 1 1/2 and 7 inches.
3. Cut and fold the score lines as shown.
4. Apply glue on the skinny flap and stick to the other side of the vellum.
5. Apply glue on the bottom flaps and bring the bag together.
6. Take the pattern paper and create a banner on it using white yarn and some gold and black washi tape.
7. Apply glitter on the top flap.
8. Also, add some washi tape on the inside of the flap to hide the glue marks.
9. Add your sentiment on a small piece of vellum and stick to the bag.
10. Add a piece of gold glitter ribbon on the top and tie a bow at the back of the bag.
Hope you liked this. See you soon. Have a happy day :)
