Big Gift Bag - Creative Moments Challenge #94

Hey my crafty friends!! Today I'll be making a huge gift bag for Creative Moments Challenge #94 http://carabbiemomentsofcraft.blogspot.in/2016/05/challenge-94.html

Please visit blog and check out the lovely projects made by the Design Team. It would be lovely if you participate in our current challenge :D

I'll be entering this in the following challenges:

For this challenge, i had to use a page/pages from an old book or use an old book itself in my project.

2. Craft Your Passion Challenge #313 - http://craftyourpassionchallenges.blogspot.in/2016/05/challenge-313-always-anything-goes.html

Materials Required
  • Two sheets of handmade paper measuring 10 1/2 X 14 1/2 inches
  • Any Digi image. I chose Di's Digi Stamps - Goldfish Mice
  • Google eyes, washi tape and adhesive pearls
  • Gold ribbon and some old book paper

Method
1. Score both sheets of paper on the short side (10 1/2 inches) at 2 and 10 inches.
2. Score both sheets of paper on the long side (14 1/2 inches) at 2 and 12 1/2 inches.
3. Cut and fold the score lines as shown.
4. Apply glue on the skinny flap of one paper and stick it to the broad flap of the other paper. (See pics)
5. Apply glue on the upper flaps and stick it inwards as shown.
6. Colour your image with your preferred method. I used colour pencils and wax crayons. I used distress inks on the edge of the paper to give it a worn look.
7. Take a page from an old book and cut it into halves.
8. Stick this on the front side of the bag.
9. Now stick the image on top and embellish.
10. Now add some glue on the other skinny flap and stick it to the other side.
11. Fold the bottom flaps and bring the bag together.
12. Punch some holes on the top of the bag and add some golden ribbon.

I hope you liked this. See you soon. :D
