Embossed Paper Thank-You Cards

Hello. It's time to get a little ‘Crafty’. I have really been into card making in the last few months. My favourites are the ‘Under five minute’ kind. What can I say, it appeals to my lazy side :P.

Materials Required
  1. White card that is 3X4 inches in size.
  2. Some embossed paper. I found these pretty tissue-like papers at my local stationery store.
  3. Fevicryl fabric glue-stick.
  4.  A small quilling strip.
  5.  Some golden or silver thread and rhinestones for embellishment.
  6. Mustard Seed and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks.
  7.  Some sentiment stamp. I used a ‘Thanks’ stamp.
Method
  • Cut a 3X4.5 strip of the embossed paper. Glue it to the front of the card.
  •  Fold the excess flap and stick it to the back of the card. This gives it a cleaner edge.
  •  Take a strip of quilling paper that is close to the colour of the paper that you used. Stick it to the back of the card where the embossed paper ends.
  •  To embellish, tie a bow using a piece of the golden string.
  •  Stamp the sentiment onto a white card stock and stick it to the card. Add a rhinestone to finish the card.

That’s all. Easy Peasy.
