Supplies needed
- An old stool
- One can of oil paint (any colour of our choice). I chose brown.
- Sand Paper
- Turpentine
- Washi tapes (i used three washi tapes from the Lulupu Craft Store)
- Sand the stool well to remove any worn out bits of wood from the stool
- Apply a small bit of turpentine all around the stool to remove any wood residue
- Add a coat o oil paint. Let it dry overnight.
- Apply another coat of the paint and let it dry as well. Make sure you cover all the areas that will not be wrapped by the washi tapes.
- Take the washi tapes that you want to use for this project and make your own patterns on the stool. I chose vertical stripes.
- Lastly, apply a coat of varnish and your stool is ready to be admired by everyone around. :)
(Don't ask about the PC cabinet. Sigh.)
Deadly one ...don't let me sit on that stool if u want to prevent all the materials u used in it from melting !!
